La esquizofrenia (muchas veces llamado trastorno) es una enfermedad que ataca específicamente al cerebro. Las personas que la padecen pueden escuchar voces que no están allí. Ellos pueden pensar que otras personas quieren hacerles daño. A veces no tiene sentido cuando hablan. Este trastorno hace que sea difícil para ellos mantener un trabajo o cuidar de sí mismos. En esta obra vemos a Betty, una joven con problemas psicológicos bastante evidenciables. Está en su habitación, sostiene una conversación con un hombre, llena de misterios y respuestas. La habitación está fría, Betty se siente sola pero a la vez, acompañada en su soledad por un hombre al que ella afirma no conocer.

She enters a writing competition in which the winner gets a book deal. When she struggles to write the violence in the slasher novel she decided to write, she turns to drastic measures for inspiration. After all, you should write what you know... a/n: hi guys!! this is an (incredibly) rough first draft of what originated as a project in my Creative Writing class. We were given the school year to write an original novella, and this is mine! I've grown really attached to the plot, but at my current writing skill, I don't think I could've properly gotten the point across in the time I was given. I'm publishing it here both to share it with my friends and to hopefully find proofreaders!
