'I sense it again,' Dan said. 'The evil it's raging at the moment. And they are close. Danny, they may want to go after Nana. He is your weakest link. And I know you will want to do anything to help Nana. And that will include giving up your blood. Now go.'

"Imani, here watch Cloud for a bit," he said. "That coffee is starting to come down. I'll be back Nana should be coming back soon."

"Okay," Imani held Cloud. "Let's go see the show up close."

Danny walked out and looked around. He went to the bathroom and found Nana washing his hand. "You're safe."

"Yeah," Nana dried his hand. "What's wrong?"

"Dan sensed someone evil," he said. "The same one he has been feeling for a while now. I got worried and came to look for you."

"I'm okay," he smiled.

Danny looked around. "And Ashton?"

"He received a phone and stepped out," Nana said.

'Ashton!' Dan said. 'He knows too!'

Danny dragged Nana out. "Go get my father! Now!"

Nana ran back inside.

He left to look for Ashton. "Ashton!" And while looking for him, he stepped on a phone. He picked it up. "Damn it! Ashton!"

Danny ran around until he saw a shadowy figure run away. "Hey!" He ran over and stopped. "Damn, she got away."

"Ugh," he looked back and saw Ashton slumped against the wall. "Danny."

"Ashton," he knelt. "Are you okay?"

"No," he said. "Here." He handed him a small bottle, half empty. But a small amount of punk liquid linger. "She didn't give me all of it. I fought her off. And I took this." Ashton held a choker with a bell. "Danny, she's going after your closet friends and family."

In the beginning... he was like a storm: violent, dangerous, and perfectly capable of destroying everything in his path. He'd gotten his hands on everything needed to pin me in his trap. My home... my belongings... my life -- he could have taken any of them at any time, and I wouldn't have been allowed to so much as let out a single protest. In the end, though, what he ended up wanting more than anything else in the world was something I swore up and down I wouldn't ever give him. Me. 🌺👑💛👑🌺 Aerin Vanderhill is uncertain of who he is on the inside and what he really wants out of life. For seventy-five years, he's lived very quietly in a small but futuristic American town, sleeping during the day and occasionally meandering around at night, basically just wondering at his own depressing existence. His family is long dead and everyone he once loved is gone, so for him, all that's left is the silence of being alone... of mimicking life because its there and he has it. Its boring, but what's an awkward, socially inept vampire who's only true form of human contact comes through playing online video games supposed to do? Nothing. That's right, nothing. Because doing something would make him spiral. That's why he sticks to his routine, no matter how pointless it feels to him. Unfortunately, his simple way of living comes to an immediate end when a dangerous, beast-like man with strange powers and even stranger origins comes gallivanting into town, hunting for the so-called "leech" who lulls his victims to sleep before preying on them. Aerin is soon certain he's going to be murdered, but fate might just have other plans. (This is a story featuring male only romance. LGBT+) TRAILER INSIDE! "What I was going to say was selfish..." He mumbled. I edge closer to him until my hand slowly cradled his cheek. Tilting his head up to look at me. "Please let me know what it was." I beg him pathetically. He begins to chew his lip and that's when I knew he was nervous. Nervous about what? I'm not exactly sure. "With everything I said...I was going to say at the same time...never...leave me." He confessed painfully almost. That's when I lost all sense of control and pressed my lips onto his. Kissing him with all my strength and all the built up desire that's accumulated. I continued to kiss him until at some point my tongue made it's way into his mouth. Tasting a sweet flavor that I've never encountered. As I got deeper in the kissing I feel myself fly back into a tree. Slammed against it that I felt myself lose my breath. Trying to catch it, I look up at Achille. His eyes were now a crimson red that intrigued me. He shook his head and suddenly he was gone in a blur. Confused, I stood as I had to pop my back from the hard hit into the tree. Looking in the direction Achille ran off, I knew I couldn't see him because it'd be a blur. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...
