The universe of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure had been reset by Father Pucci. Pucci had been following DIO's plans. But what they didn't know was DIO and Pucci were being created by the Shadowman. The connections were there; Creating zombies from an ancient artifact, abilities that can pause, reverse or fast forward time, creating a new universe or transporting people to a new universe, tragic deaths of main characters.
