Meet Jasmine Jones. Her new best friend Tyler has just told Jasmine that his father is abusing him. A few days later Tyler goes missing and her mother announces that she is going to marrying a man named Mason Smith. When Mason turns out to be Tyler's abusive father Jasmine has no way to escape the horrors of home. Until she meets Leo the town bad boy who just might save her. But will it be too much to handle?

"What do you want Bentson?" I questioned trying to hold myself up

"You are the one that bumped into me," he said a smirk. He gently poked me in the stomach and I winced at his touch stumbling back. He caught me effortlessly and stood my back on my feet.

"Leave me alone Leo" I didn't need his drama today I needed to get the bathroom before something bad happened. I tried to push past him but he kept his grip tight on my arm and then pulled me back towards him. Without saying anything he took the brim of my shirt and started to lift it I quickly swatted his hand off me and ran out of the school and collapsing onto the grass. The last thing I saw were two dark blue eyes and then everything went black.
