They say dogs are man's best friends, but who are country girl's best friends?

I think we all know the answer is horses.

For Macey May life was getting harder by the second and she was losing hope for having a comfortable future.

Inheriting a bankrupt ranch from her granddad, only made matters worse for Macey, but maybe the lone, grey stallion that magically showed up on her lawn could shed some light on the empty pastures of Maceys heart.

Love, fear, adventure and loyalty are some of the most important aspects of life and Macey is about to realize that.

But the question is, is she saving the troubled horse from his past or is the horse saving her from her troubled future?

Lacey Anne Ferry grew up on a cattle ranch in Montana where riding horses was an everyday part of her life. She loved the horses, cattle, and the hard work that came with living on a working ranch. In the little free time that she had, Lacey rodeoed. When she wasn't running barrels, she was roping; when she wasn't roping, she was pole bending; when she wasn't pole bending, she was cutting...the list went on. Lacey Ferry was the one cowgirl that everyone wanted to beat. She was phenomenal at every rodeo event that she competed in. Everything that was familiar to Lacey came crashing down around her when a freak barrel racing accident left her paralyzed from the waist down...and terrified of horses. Two things that she never thought she'd be. Instead of being outside almost 24/7 like she was before her accident, Lacey now refuses to leave the house. The doctors say that Lacey will never be able to walk, rodeo, or even ride a horse ever again. New ranch hand, Chet Slade Reid, "Slade," sets out to show Lacey that that stuff doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Can Slade help Lacey to get her confidence and love for horses back, or will her accident have left her too scarred to "get back on the horse" and "cowgirl up"? Slade was hired as a ranch hand, but as he sets out to help Lacey get the courage to ride again, he finds himself attracted to her. Despite his growing affection for her, Slade's dark past keeps him from telling Lacey his true feelings for her. Lacey sets aside her own insecurities to comfort Slade when a person from his past resurfaces. With God's help, will Slade and Lacey be able to live in the present but look forward to the future, or will they stay paralyzed in the past?

The Cowboy's Love

41 parts Complete

Wade smiled at her, and their eyes met. Aubrey held her breath as she studied his sapphire eyes, so deep and so bold. If only they didn't look as if they were piercing through her soul. "I know that I can grow to love you with all my heart, and I'm gonna make you love me right back... even if it kills me" he whispered. Aubrey Cutshall is a woman who has no idea what she wants or how she wants it, and that goes double for husbands. When a problem with her grandmother's will causes her to have need of one of them by her 21st birthday, she sets off to find one of the two-legged annoyances. What she never expected was to find a God-fearing one, let alone a good looking one. All Wade Dylan knows is that he's in a bind. He is caught between his freedom or keeping his honor, but his worries just begin when the choice is made for him. What starts out as a mere arrangement of convenience turns out to be the worst idea of his life. She thinks she doesn't fit in his world. She is his world. Can faith in their God bring them together?
