On Ones

"Roma, why is your project entirely on ones?"
"I wanted to."
The professor looked at me. "There were a few parts where you could have put it on twos or threes. I appreciate your dedication, but it must have been very inefficient."
"I wanted it on ones. It looks better in my opinion."
"It this industry, time is money. I'm pretty sure you've heard that many times before."
"Yes. I am highly aware of that. But life is too short to live only on every other frame. I want to make every one twenty-fourth of a second count."
I thought I was going to receive another lecture, but she only smiled at me. "I'm looking forward to seeing your future projects, Roma. This was truly remarkable."

So I wanted to write a romance novel because what I've been writing recently have been dark and sad. I combined my life (animation) and my love (watching figure skating), personified them and made them fall in love. Those two saucy wenches are called Roma (animator) and Elspeth (figure skater. Maybe future US Olympic team member?).
There will be short stories in here too, (what Roma creates as an animator) so if you don't wanna read those, just skip them. They're labeled clearly.
