Tuttavia il mondo da cui proviene è lontano anni luce dalla vita che sogna e, come se non bastasse, i suoi genitori scambiano la sua infelicità per patologia dissociativa e decidono di mandarla in analisi. Non hanno tutti i torti: lei si sente un vero pesce fuor d'acqua. Fino a quando non incontra lui: Federico, classico ribelle che segue tutte le regole solo per essere sicuro di trasgredirle e che pensa che sognare sia roba da bambini e idioti.
Invade la vita di Chiara, la stravolge e grazie a lei ricomincia a sognare, anche se il suo sogno è solamente uno: creare un mondo fatto apposta per lei.
