Genetic modification is illegal because of the level of pain and risk of death to those modified. But when the planet is preparing for a war against and unknown species that might end all life on earth. They will do anything and everything to protect their home....even if it means breaking some laws to get there.

My lungs and muscles burned. Everything in my body begging me to stop but I had to keep moving. I had to get away. I rather die than go back to that lab but this building was a maze! Hybrid: The Awakening
