all your life you've been thrown out into the cold wet and dark streets of New York. Called a freak at every corner and push aside like you were nothing, so you decided to stick to the shadows and help people in need. your powers are special to you, because to you they are the only thing that gives you a purpose. You can form into shadows, run super speed, levitate with your mind, set anything to blaze at will, and heal people with your tears by singing a song of your past. (song: dark and battered past, light that once had shined, light that spark again, and show me your light, show me..your light.)

One fateful night you were out, being the vigilante you are, hiding from the cops who we're always on your tail and looking for someone to save. everything was generally normal in the city of New York, until you heard an alarm a few blocks away and sprung into action. what you didn't know was that you weren't the only one that would come to the rescue.
