On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, 1918, a meeting between German and British troups in the Forest of Compiègne called for a global ceasefire. The First World War had come to an end.

A short story detailing the revelation to a singular regiment stranded in the Trenches, this was written in acknowledgment of the one hundred year anniversary of the Armistice and end of the first world war.
