It was the beginning of senior year and Atlas Jacobs has not had it easy. She spent the summer in Montana trying to cure herself of her former afflictions.

When she arrives home she is in need of a new phone, and that's when things change. As a twist of fate, she receives the number of her classmate, Fitzgerald Hudson's, late brother. His one call in the night turns out to be a lifeline for both of them. The conversations continue and the relationship grows. She wants to continue with their late night calls, but is it really fair that she know who he is but continues to keep her identity a secret?

One more problem; she's falling in love with him.
