After a humiliating defeat at the hands of Ryuga and his bey Lightning L-drago, Gingka has lost his way and his confidence, separating from his friends to return to his home village of Koma. But his friends refuse to let him be alone in his time of need, and they vow to find him and help him. Right before their departure, they meet Aya Tategami, a strong blader with a mysterious power to sense bey spirits. It's an incredible ability that could be used for both good or evil, and Aya quickly finds herself face to face with a snarling wolf on her journey to track down one particular bey spirit: the spirit of L-drago.
