The group of boys weren't the first Gladers, no a young seven year old girl was. She's been living within the maze walls since. She has one friend that she never met, doesn't even know if he's real but that didn't matter. All she has is instinct, a friend in her head, and a hope to survive. She is the first Glader, she is the hope of survival with a knowing of everything and anything.
In order to save herself and the boys she is dropped into a world she's been avoiding, a truth she lied to everyone even herself about. When her world is flipped upside down due to being caught once everything changes before anyone can even say her name, Ro.

Trained For This 1~ Newt The Maze Runner
Tara is a 15 year old girl when she gets put into the maze trials. She was sent into the maze a year after the trials first started. She doesn't know what she did to end up there, but she is keen on finding out by becoming a runner. She is the only girl in the glade and finds it harder to fit in even if she can put those boys into their places. She is strong and fast, so she believes she is well able to be a runner, but the boys aren't convinced. Especially Newt. He believes that he can prevent her from going into the maze amd wants to protect the only girl in the glade as he is second in command, or at least that's his excuse when he gets caught caring for her. Do they both find what they've been missing for so long? Tara has to convince not only alby but Newt and Minho that she is good enough to be a runner and that they do not need to worry about her. Gally is convinced she is too weak, and Newt thinks she might get hurt or worse, but deep down, he knows why he doesn't want her in the maze. Will he open up to Tara about his fear? And will Tara find out what WICKED want from Tara.

Teresa is the first girl to arrive in the Glade? False. The first girl in the Glade was in fact Mia, she arrived over a year before Thomas and Teresa. The reason no one talks about her, they all think she is dead. Mia arrived in the box, same as everyone else but here's the catch, she doesn't talk. Not can't, doesn't. After a few months in the Glade Mia is sick of it, she runs off into the Maze at sundown. The Gladers assume she is dead when they don't hear from her for a week. But in reality she has been living in the maze with the Grievers, she made friends with a few of them and they protected her from the others, she runs around the maze during the night and hides during the day so that the Runners wouldn't see her. She has lived like that for almost a year now, watching over her Glader friends from afar. Each month she would watch as the new Greenie would come up in the box but then one night after a year in the maze her friends Minho and Alby get stuck in the Maze with the new Greenie. Mia joins them and starts to feel something for the Greenie. She joins in the adventure, surprising all the Gladers. This is her journey. This is a Maze Runner, Thomas X OC, fanfiction. The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time.
