In the forgotten land of Nimbus, there stood the Kingdom of Circinus where anyone can perform tremendous feats of magic so long as they had sufficient coin. When Freya purchases a set of Spell Shards in order to conceal her gender so that she may join the Rebel Army, she sets off a chain of events that will threaten the very foundation of their patriarchal society and the Masters that shaped it.
