The title of this collection, "Beneath a Broken Sky," evokes a world touched by hardship, a reality where imperfections and challenges are starkly visible. It is a metaphor for the human condition, where we navigate life under a canopy that may feel fractured or incomplete.

The poems that follow are explorations of various facets of this experience. They delve into themes of love and loss, hope and despair, resilience and vulnerability. Within these verses, you will find echoes of longing, reflections on inner strength, and moments of both sorrow and joy.

It is important to note that while these poems explore universal emotions and experiences, they are not necessarily a direct reflection of my own life. Rather, they are an attempt to capture the broader spectrum of human feeling and the complexities of existence beneath the metaphorical "broken sky."

Through these poems, I invite you to contemplate the shared human journey, to find resonance in the emotions expressed, and perhaps to discover new perspectives on the world we inhabit.

Ballads from the Heart of the Lobo-Bruja... by JCRevoltPub
62 parts Ongoing Mature
"She was never meant to be decoded-only endured, only felt in the marrow where language snaps into raw ache." Yes, some of these pages belong to the Lobo-Bruja-a wolf-witch forged from moonbite and rebellion. Her legend is here: the magic, the trauma, the "I will burn this village down if necessary" energy but do not mistake this book for a shrine to one woman's myth. This collection is bigger. Wilder. Messier. Because threaded through her story is the mortal fool who loves her-the only soul reckless enough to kiss a storm and call it home. The one person she doesn't want to bury in the backyard... most days. Their love is feral, devoted, and occasionally armed. And then there are the other voices-the unclaimed, the unholy, the unheard. Creatures with no temples, no heroes, no spotlight. The author gave them teeth and a stage. (We regret nothing.) Ballads from the Heart of the Lobo-Bruja is not just poetry and prose-it's an initiation. A riot disguised as literature. A permission slip to feel everything too much and still survive. Inside these pages: • Pain does stand-up comedy. • Magic rolls its eyes and pours another drink. • Hope staggers in late wearing questionable shoes. • Healing demands a rematch, best of five. Every poem is a bruise refusing to fade politely. Every story is a scar that can still bite. Every confession is a spell with blood under its nails. This book isn't for the comfortable. It's for the ones who loved and found it feral. For the ones who shattered and weaponized the pieces. For the ones who buried themselves and still grew teeth. Return to these pages when your heart forgets how to howl. Return when the dark starts whispering your old name. Return when you need proof that survival can still be dramatic. The Lobo-Bruja's tale-half spell, half scar-is still writing itself. But here, in this chorus of holy misfits, snarling lovers, and beautifully unkillable hearts-another story is already clawing its way free.
