This story is in an alternative setting in which Ash never returned in XYZ28 and neither snapped out of it. It causes him to lose all of his Pokémon, including Pikachu. He gets new ones at Alola and still has all of his Pokémon from Kanto (Excluding Pikachu), Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova as well. Note that Team Flare did get destroyed and the Crisis ended, however Ash was not there to help.

Ash, 16 years old (Yay, he aged lol!) attends a Pokémon Academy in Lumiose City to enrich his skills, along with his partner, Eevee, which is first time he has been in Kalos for a long time. He is able to meet some of his old friends from his earlier journeys, that including the people he traveled with in Kalos. How will he react? Find out here in this story.
