When Vera Lattoline is poisoned by her father's brother, she steps into a world no human could ever imagine. Afterlife. Befriending Death, Vera explores every aspect of Aftyr, the shared place of all Souls. For humans, death is just a concept most cannot wrap their head around. For Souls, death is home.
After one of Vera's childhood friends is killed, she tries to find his Soul in Aftyr.
