Someone wants Shadow dead. Or at least for his mind to be 'reset'.
Shadow was returning home late from staying late at work, only to be attacked by a rogue robot. Shadow managed to get away, but he was severely injured. The person who wanted him dead found him again, causing him even more pain.
Just as Shadow thought he had the worst of it, he was knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he was found chucked off a cliff. Shadow spent months in a coma, not knowing who he was.
Sonic had made a dangerous deal with someone, to get Shadow's memories back in a year or Shadow will be killed.
Can Sonic get Shadow's memories back in time or will he fail? What will happen when everyone's dark past comes into play? How will Shadow react to 'strangers'?

Probably the first ever ShadAmyOuge story but idk I haven't looked Main plot After years of Amy chasing sonic he finally grows the Courage to tell Amy he doesn't like her calmly and alittle annoyed, the group aged a lot now Amy was 17 sonic was 20. In her mourning time she is visited by her friend Rouge, Rouge comforts her and takes her away from the team to clear her head, in her time away she gets fairly close with Shadow in the mean time her and rouges friendship grows stronger then ever. (Note. I'm not really a ShadOuge fan so it'll mostly be about Shadow and Rouge over Amy bc why not) Shadow and Rouge both notice each other's crush on the pink hedgehog and confront each other about it. what happens when they both struggle to figure out what to do and make Amy choose? After sixteen years, Mephiles has returned. Darker and more power hungry...after failing to defeat and kill Shadow, Sonic and the rest of the gang, he Is going to make sure he gets what he wants this time, by using the power of the chaos emeralds,He infects Shadow with a rabies like disease, called Muskiomal which makes Shadow a ruthless cannabalsitic killer at nightfall. Not only does Mephiles turn Shadow into a killer hedgehog, he forces him to take out revenge on not only on on Mobians but the entire universe as well. But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet?
