"This is your fourth failed attempt at killing me. Don't you think you should give up now?" Soren chuckled, he was all alone now with his assassin, in the middle of the woods with no one to save him and a King playing against him.

Our country, Solis, was under attack by our neighbouring country, Tenebris, and we were short on soldiers so the king decided to send all the soldiers he currently has to war and take every single orphan in the country and trained them strictly. And on the same day, he took every single newborn son as 'insurance'. I'm one of those newborn sons, Noel is too, we were taken exactly 19 years and 128 days ago. No other newborns or orphans were taken after that day. Our purpose is to be elite royal soldiers and go on special missions the orphans can't do. Well, to be honest, I don't think they trust the orphans enough to do those kinds of missions, the orphans have always been angry with the king, especially the ones who've already been adopted. I have a family too that I haven't even met! They are overreacting, the king took me from my family when I was only a few hours old! At least they've met their families.

The king has promised every newborn and orphan that they will return to their families if they have reached a certain point of satisfactory, currently, no one has reached that point.
