In a world where magic is used in everyday living, wizards hold the key to the future of our world. But we are not all born with power, some must create power of their own. Power can be learned but you must be able to endure the challenges. To learn difficult magic you must be willing to practice and have patience. The high council sets up challenges every year to assess what we've learned. We compete against each other in challenges and in battle. We, as members of guilds, swear to protect all we can. We must keep danger at bay.

The Smell Of Magic

30 parts Complete

Nor and her twin sister, Mady, live on an island with their mom. Every summer they attend Camp Cress on the mainland with their friends Zady and Kahlen. Weird things start happening around Nor and Mady, things that could give away their abilities. Nor encounters dark magic, spells and secrets but with the help of her friends (and powers) she just might make it through. *** "The moon was now covered by grey, ominous and eerie clouds, the distinct smell of brine and spells tickled my nostrils. The smell of magic. A smell so hard to pinpoint if you don't grow up with it. It continually followed my sister and I. We usually notice this but tonight (or this morning) it was stronger than ever." *** *warning : mild swearing*
