Hi, my name is Jasmine Coleman. I'm from Los Angeles, California and 16 years old. I have two siblings, a twin brother named Trey; who's also 16, and a younger sister Kayla; she's 14. We never had much love from our parents growing up with our father being a drug addict and our mother's drinking problems. They both would abuse all of us, but my brother always got it worse because he always would try to protect me and my sister from our MONSTERS of parents. I don't have many friends as you can see because I have major trust issues and every person that I have allowed to come into my life has betrayed me.
1 YEAR LATER
Now in present time, our parents just died from a drug deal gone bad and now we have to move to New York to live with our grand parents. New home, new school, and New people.

In High School, Jasmine Raynes had been a antisocial overweight introvert with a cloud of despair hanging over her head. She had no friends since people just seemed to avoid her and she could hear a voice in her head that resulted from depression and her very own negativity towards herself.
