"Why are you here, Kelsey?" Tamara says worriedly. Tamara's parents are my parents best friends. They all grew up together here in this place. "I need you to give this to Steph," I hand her the sealed envelope I've had ready for months. I rewrote it and put it in an envelope and now he's going to get It. "What is it?" She questions. "Just please?" I ask her, "please, there's one for you too, but you can't read it till tomorrow." I wrote a total of four letters. One for my mom, Steph, Tamara, and Jeremy. "Here's yours. Just please don't read it till tomorrow." "Okay..." she says as I walk away and get into my car. . . . Kelsey, am eighteen year old senior in high school, suffering through depression, heartache, and betrayal. Through her multiple attempts and self harm, she has no idea what life will throw at her next. But when her and her boyfriend, Jeremy, fall out, it gives her an opportunity to find true love and happiness. But when her best friend is the one she loves, will she tell him and risk everything? (Exactly what it sounds like. It's really not a love story. ) "Do you like me?" You're straight forward I forget that sometimes. I open the drink and look at it as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. I sigh, it's a habit now, and take a gulp. "So?" You ask again. I put the drink on a table next to your bed and sit properly. "I don't know." I say honestly. You didn't seem fazed but you did seem a bit confused. "What do you mean you don't know?" I shrug and decide that the floor is the next best thing to look at. "I like you." I laugh at this and see you don't. "Don't say that. You don't like me. You don't." I say as my smile fell and I looked to your eyes, mine were filled with sadness. But enjoy the book :)
