El misterio de Crantock por Sergio Aguirre relata la historia de un pueblo llamado Crantock donde sus habitantes presencian muertes inesperadas, situaciones inexplicables y cosas que misteriosamente aparecen y desaparecen de un momento a otro, además de escuchar sonidos extraños, siluetas con forma de monstruos y cosas paranormales que elevan un toque permanente de suspenso durante cada línea de tiempo leída en el contenido de la historia hasta su último día. 

Se puede analizar que es un libro que al empezar a leerlo no tienen sentido los sucesos que ocurren extrañamente hasta que llegues a la parte final donde te desembocan el ¿por qué?,  el ¿cómo surgen? y el ¿cómo ocurren? todas las muertes y los sucesos inexplicables, sorprendente trama que hasta el último día te mantiene en absoluta conexión con cada hecho detalle y/o suceso inexplicable.
