An abandoned holotape and journal was found in the wastes of the Commonwealth, out on the edge of the Glowing Sea. Inside, a diary of a scout-turned explorer with a taste for adventure (and ghouls). Absinthe is a drunkard determined to live life to the fullest, but most of all, to find her place in a broken wasteland where logic is a suggestion and honor is punished. Little does she know arriving to Goodneighbor, searching for work, would begin a chain of events so dire it leaves her *glowing* with rage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Author's Note: This story is based off of Fallout 4 gameplay events, and I will add a list of mods that inspired this story. Also, listening to the soundtrack of Fallout 4 (https://soundcloud.com/clsoundtrack3/sets/fallout-4-full-games-music?si=616bef7975e9421d943acb6b1d133a5f&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing) helped me write, so maybe it will help you read. TW: Content may be graphic and/or disturbing, viewer is cautioned. This is included, but not limited to suicide, gore, assault, mutilation, substance abuse, betrayal, etc... While these themes are present and used to describe the world and character experiences, they are in no way glorified and should never be practiced under any circumstances. If you are struggling with any of these experiences, I encourage you to seek help.
