From Roses to Thorns (A Kiribaku Fanfic)

Hanahaki:
An illness born from one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs up flower petals. This rare illness can cause death, by clogging your respiratory system and your windpipe leading to eventual lack of air, or by blood loss.

Symptoms: Coughing up petals, Coughing up blood, Thorns growing out of throat, and eventually death.

Only cures: The infection can be removed through surgery, but the feelings disappear along with the petals, or the beloved ends up returning the feeling for the infected one.

Love does kill.

At Bakugou's dormroom

'I have that project due next week, I should ask Kirishima to help me do it.' Bakugou thought as his thoughts were pushed to the side by a tickling feeling in his throat.
'What the fuck is this?' He thinks as he stasrts coughing, gasping for air, whatever is in his throat is blocking his airways.
He coughs powerfully, hoping to get the strange object dislodged from his throat.
Petals spew across the floor.
"What the fuck is this?"
