The Red Thread of Fate

The Red Thread of Fate, also referred to as the Red Thread of Marriage, and other variants, is an East Asian belief originating from Chinese legend. According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the ankles of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. But what most people don't know about is that only a handful of people can actually see it. One of these people, is a young woman named Samon Gokuu.
She had been told the tales of the red thread as a child and has since been waiting to meet for her fated one. However, upon arriving to Nanba Prison, she soon learns that her soulmate...is the one she completely hates the most!!! Join her, as she performs her duty as supervising officer of Building 5 while also trying to defy fate itself.

But once it is written by the hands of destiny...it cannot be changed.

This one is going to be a little different from my usual work. This story is written by one of my best friends and we decided to make this a thing. She is the real brains behind it, while I am her editor. So all the credit goes to her. The cover and the following drawing of female Samon belongs to her and her alone.
