[Book two in 'The Test' series] 
The test was finally over. Everyone woke up. They all remembered what they had forgotten in the test. 
But even with this being the case, some have forgotten the test completely, as if it never happened. 
And Jack just so happens to be one of the people that can't remember the test. 
Lexi, John, and Natalie don't know what the reason for it is, but they're sure this is just another sick trick caused by Reid. 
And to make matters worse, Reid is the father Jack thought he lost years ago to a fire.
The test may be over but for others, it seems, another test has just begun. 

Side note:
This book and series has plot holes and other writing errors I hope to fix in the future. It can be a really confusing ride because I got a bit lazy in this book. Like, seriously, I messed up big time while writing this one and this needs major fixing. I'm not even the slightest bit joking. This. Is. Bad. Like, really bad.
But I hope you enjoy if you do decide to read this... :)

An electronic voice repeated over and over, "This message is transmitted to you through the North Carolina Police Department. It is advised to stay indoors and to remain inside if at all possible. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens? Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine. I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block. I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best. Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly... ...... This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship. It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words.
