He cannot remember anything before three hours ago, yet he finds himself standing in front of his Captain suspended for what he might have done before that. Where have I been? He ponders. Why is my foot hurting? Moreover, how could I have killed the woman I love? Well this suspension might work to my advantage. I just need to get back to my computer, Nancy. With her help, I will figure this out on my own.
