"What's wrong, Hatter?" His breath washed over my face and it reminded me how close he was.

"You," I said. I was not going to squirm or ask him to move. That would mean he won and I had no desire to show him that he had an effect on me.

"Why don't you find out?" I asked from under hooded lashes. He smirked and looked triumphant before leaning further in. Then I did the thing that would later start the feud that sieged the two strongest undercover corporations in the world.
