I don't know Shawn Mendes personally (though I wish I did, he's such a kind person and a sweetheart). I also don't know his family either!
You may see a lot of references to Pickering. Obviously, Shawn lived there so it makes sense to talk about it but I lived there too. I lived there for more than 10 years before moving away. The amount of Pickering references might be extreme.
I'll also reference Harry Potter a lot as I have been a HUGE fan for YEARSSSSS
