 Ned's only solace from the banality is Andy, his best friend since pre-school. Ned and Andy's lives take a turn with the arrival of Chris, an old school friend returned to town as a member of the local police force. After an incident at a 21st birthday party Chris is fired from his job and the three lads decide to leave Bundleton behind, taking off on an adventure of self-discovery laden with debauchery, heartbreak, inspiration and a dash of time-travel.

But in the end they're still just a group of immature teenagers with a fitting immature sense of humor. This is quite a light hearted story with a few dark moments.
