cat·a·clysm
/ˈkadəˌklizəm/
noun
noun: cataclysm; plural noun: cataclysms

a large-scale and violent event in the natural world.
a sudden violent upheaval, especially in a political or social context.

The world purged itself of most of humanity, and this is what's left. Small groups of survivors form clans and guilds and take on jobs from nearby villages and other survivors. Lots of them are just to travel the area and kill what shouldn't have come back.

Humans have purged most of the undead but there's always new ones popping up. The crew was lucky they all got away and found each other. Everyone has their role, many of them having multiple ones. Their crew is one of the most popular in the land. Mainly because they act like they know what they're doing. But also because they're good at what they do.

The leader, Cam, has a commanding presence. The marksman, Jay, is the best of the land and with his right hand man Mason they're unstoppable. John and James work together amazingly to communicate with other guilds and crews, trading whatever is necessary for survival. Bordie makes some of the best weapons in the land and though she usually only makes them for the crew, she's opened a small shop to bring in extra supplies and materials.

I know in my other stories the guys are a bit out of character. If you really dislike that then I'm sorry for this one. I just know the laid back style of the group isn't how they would be in this situation so they will definitely be out of character. I want to thank @twatpadofficial for letting me spam her with ideas ahead of time because I know this one is going to take a lot out of me. Probably slower updated than my other ones, but I'm aiming for longer chapters as well.

Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.

Castle Rock. A formidable laboratory housing monsters, unwilling subjects and other supernatural entities stationed deep beneath the ice of a tundra in an unknown region of a fragmented world. The place of nightmares that very few know of, the place of cruel and inhumane tests conducted on the innocent. Castle Rock at [DATA EXPUNGED], has experienced a site-wide destabilization due to the intense polar storm that currently is decimating the tundra. These storms are known to be dangerous for a plethora of reasons throughout the world. The Facility and all of it's holding cells & security stations deactivated and disabled due to the storm. Releasing everything without supervision. Hence, this phenomenon being called "Destabilization". Now, Monsters and deviants alike set free to roam. Some take matters into their own hands to escape. (Y/N) is a subject within the bowels of the facility, among the few who have the will to survive. Though, with little knowledge of their own past and current situation, (Y/N) finds some friends along the way. All hoping to find an escape. This story is a little gay, just a little. Hope you enjoy reading, give me any and all feedback The story will randomly transition between reader POV and (Y/N) POV at times. It's subtle, so pay attention. [Sometimes scenes will say "We did (something) and other times [You did (something). It's all the same. Just different POVs Melee killing is violent and gory on purpose. None of the art shown belongs to me. Inspired from various video games. Melee Combat directly based on Decaying Winter Slightly inspired by Rogue Lineage. Gender-neutral reader.

This is a story that doesn't contribute at all the grander story of Zero... A lesser narrative that should have ended up withering away but instead abruptly became a full blown Narrative. Due to the abrupt nature of its appearance, the narrative was not able to completely acclimate to its "main" status internally, this only worsened the narratives Chronicle Structure Foundation (C.S.F), making it develop Chronicle Structure Instability (C.S.I), this caused the narrative to become extremely liable to Chronicle Structure Distortions (C.S.D) which could potentially lead to a Chronicle Structure Collapse (C.S.C). Its Ruin Foundation Value on the Archnarrative is C+ meaning it has a mostly even chance of spelling the destruction of many narratives beyond itself upon its collapse. It's time for special agent Zero to head in and investigate. "Servant... Caster... Deploying- WAIT THE FUCK? WHY AM I A CASTER?! OI! GIVE ME BACK MY FOREIGNER STATUS YOU CUN-" Ahem... Anyway. Continuing. This convoluted lore is just an excuse I made for fanservice. Writing my more lore heavy stories right now is harder because of my stress inducing circumstances. Ironic because I want to get away from heavy lore writing but made up all this fucking lore... Meh. I don't believe in consistency. THERE'S GONNA BE SCIENCE, SPACE, EXTRANEOUS EVENTS, HONEY BADGERS, TALKING SWORDS, ESPIONAGE, FAN-SERVICE HAREMS- ... But most importantly... CATGIRLS... "Fanservice? Nah that ain't right. This ain't for no fans. This is for ME! This is SELF-SERVICE!" "That just sounds like masturbation with extra steps bro..." "..."

Everywhere else is a battleground, where humans fight each other for food, water, and shelter. People are in awe of her willingness to risk her life, but it's easy when your days are numbered, and hers are. She's turning feral. However, her latest foray into the Barrens leads to an incredible discovery: someone with the potential to create a feralism cure. But it takes time and risk to create a cure, without promise of a payout. To Nia, some fates are worse than death, and the only absolute is the oblivion of feralism awaiting her. Shadows of Elysium: The Laughing King by DalisJamesBunch

Once upon a time there was a world, much like our own. This world is gone. The machinations and wars of man saw to every manner of apocalypse. What was left is a world as nightmarish as it is fantastical. Gunslingers and swordsmen ply the same trade. Science, chemistry and magic are indistinguishable from one another. The monsters prey on all, but the true villains will always be human. A handful of corrupted overlords run the walls before the wastelands. They promise power in the form of a potent and mysterious drug called Elysium. This is the way of the world and it has done nothing to diminish the number of mutants and parasites that crowd the wastelands. Until now. They are both overcome by a new threat from the walls that cage them. Only one wall was ever built to protect the non-cannibalistic mutants of the Grey Coast and the inhabitants of Valoria from the true Wastelands; it has fallen. The remaining warriors built a great defense to fill the gap in the frontline wall. This outpost was overrun and the warriors that defended it became too few. They did the best they could and many died in the battles to keep the True Wastelands at bay. Survivers became little more than wanderers, sell swords and try hard defenders of the inhabited wastes. This is the tale of one such wanderer and his mission to unite the Wastelands against the abominations created from Elysium. This is the tale of The Wandering King and his sadistic counterpart.
