"Y/N..." Jungkook glanced up from the homework he previously had been glaring at in frustration. You caught his gaze. "If you don't mind my asking..What are those pills for anyway?" His eyes then batted down to the 2 blue capsules that were resting in the palm of your right hand. That was a good question. "I'm not 100% sure myself.." Your tongue graced over your chapped bottom lip. "Apparently I was born with a disability..A disability these pills supposedly keep at bay." Jungkook's head tilted in interest. "And you've never asked about their purpose?" You lightly nod your head. "I have. Many times. My parents just...They dodge it every time. Any stupid excuse. I can't get anything out of them." You tilt your hand and the pills tumble to the edge, daring to fall off. "If there's one message they get through, it's that the function of my body depends on these...And I've always abided." You let out an exhausted sigh, and push away any thoughts of rebellion. You bring your hand up to tip the pills beyond the barrier of your lips, resting on your tongue, and grasp a small cup of water, tipping it to chase down the drugs. You swallow with no hesitation. This act was muscle memory for you. There hasn't been a single day that had gone by in the past 16 years of your life that you hadn't done this. But maybe the beautiful boy sitting in front of you had a point. What if you did skip the intake of these pills? It intrigued you. What exactly would life be for you if you became sober?

'Min Yoongi 9 March 1993', it read. "You've got a lovely baby face, Mr. Customer. You don't look a day over 18," I said with a smile on my face. "You ought to stop smoking, sir. I'm sure you know it's bad for your health," I continued, as I checked his shopping out. "I don't think nagging your customers is part of your duties as a part-time convenience store worker," said customer quipped with a hint of impatience. I simply smiled, deciding to pull out a card from beneath the counter for special customers like him. "Here's a quit smoking hotline, sir. I wish you good health and happiness," while handing over his shopping." "Stop working so hard, 알바생", and with two long strides he left into the dark night, leaving a lingering sound of the wind chimes as the only proof that he was ever there. Status: Rapidly updating. God knows that I'll procrastinate and eventually forget that this book exists if I don't finish it in two weeks. Update: Took much longer than two weeks, but it is now complete.
