One day I was walking along the narrow pavement, carrying the food that I'd managed to scavenge back to our shelter when I noticed a human boy approaching me. I quickly squeezed my eyes shut and prayed that he hadn't noticed anything odd. Normally people would just continue walking and I hoped that he would do the same. Then I heard him speak.

"Hey! Do you want some help carrying those?" He asked me.

Luckily I had been listening in on some of the human's conversations over the time I'd spent on earth and could somewhat understand what they said.

"No, thank you." I responded, slightly proud that I was able to form the words in this strange language.

He said "Please let me help. I'm trying to stall going home anyways.".

I wasn't completely sure of what some of those words meant but it sounded as though he was insisting on helping me. I sighed. If I told him no again he might notice something was wrong but if I allowed him to help me I would have to stumble back wih my eyes closed. I thought about and decided that it would probably be less risky if I let him help.

"Alright." I told him while holding out some apples in the general direction of his voice.

He hastily took them and said "So, What is your name? Mine is Leo.".

From what I understood, he had asked what my title was. He had also told me his.

"My name is Rage." I attempted to translate my name into his language.
