Lauren Jauregui lives in New York and she is the head detective at the Riverview Police Department. Then when her tormentor gets out of prison, his trip outside is cut short. He was murdered under the Empire State Building. Ally Brooke, Lauren's lifelong friend, is being accused of killing him. The problem is that Lauren has a deadly disorder. She is put on the case to try to find out who really did it. However, Lauren's disorder has done more bad than good and she finds that out the hard way. But, can she find love among this craziness?
