The street lights shimmered as the rain poured, I listened as mom and dad made a quick escape through the wet field leaving me on the hard rocky pavement, I cried loudly, loud enough to get someones attention I was hoping, and luckily I did, a tall light haired woman ran over to my cradling me in her long arms, I was a few months old then, and here i am now- oh excuse me I didn't introduce myself. Hi, I'm Rain Cooper or that I'm known as now, I never knew my real name but this one came from how I was found, in the rain on Cooper Highway. I'm moving to my 11 family on three years right now. I'm always sent back saying I'm distant or heartless but your about to find out the real secret in the rain.

She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice.
