Continuing in the timeline of Scott Westerfield's Leviathan Trilogy, the War to End All Wars has come to an end after the death of Nikola Tesla, and the destruction of his devastating weapon, Goliath. Austria-Hungary and Serbia were the first to give out, Germany following soon after their allies had left them. The European powers on the Darwinist side had come together to form a coalition, and America found herself a way to join in on this, forming the UN of this timeline. The Ottoman Republic has given rights to many women, and thanks to Darwinist help with driving the Germans out, they have slowly integrated Darwinist beliefs into their borders. Mexico is still in great turmoil, and now the British Empire faces receding connections to its further reaches, and the Asian powers are resisting European influence. Basamus opens on an agent's mission to go to Japan and speak amongst them all, to hopefully smoothen their growing anger against Britain and the UN. Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. Second, they only have a dozen years till this Empire returns and ravage the world again. Things have been going good for the inhabitants up until the number 1 superpower, The Holy Mirishial Empire's emperor was assassinated by a militia supported by the remnants of the expansionist empire from long ago. HME, along with the Annonrial Empire, turned against the whole world and put them on the edge of losing. Unbeknownst to them, two countries of identical names and principles that came from different eras appeared out of nowhere. This may or may not turned the tide of the war in favor of the Coalition against HME and AE. I dont own Nihonkoku shoukan. So credits to Minouru.
