Dylan Maxwell is your normal seventeen year old. He rules the basketball court at Winston High. Basketball is all Dylan's ever wanted and has little time for much else. In his senior year of high school Dylan isn't far away from his dream of attending Florida State University and their amazing basketball program and hopefully one day making it to the NBA. However, in the summer before his senior year everything changes for Dylan. He meets a beautiful and mysterious girl named Stella Rose who will changes his life forever. At the end of a blissful Florida summer where for once basketball isn't the first thing on Dylan's mind Stella reveals to Dylan she's from a magical world far above the clouds and that Dylan is actually the long lost prince of a race of maniacal beings called Nirads. Armed with this new and scheming information Dylan must return to school where he must contemplate his future which he thought was set. Back at school Dylan questions if he can really trust Stella. He also suddenly catches the eye of Aubrey, the schools most popular, and alluring, student. Stuck between two very different worlds, and two very different girls. Dylan must decided wether to leave  his old life behind and embrace his new one. In an overwhelming struggle of love, hardship, and accepting one's fate join Dylan must decide who he truly wants to be.
