10 years ago, my older sister and I were taken from our homes. Like all other humans, we could never stay in one place for any longer then a month. Our leader deemed an abandoned village safe enough to stay longer. He was wrong.
They came. They slaughtered many and captured the rest. We were among the captured. I was six at the time. We were sent to the nearest distribution center, a facility that trains humans on how to be "proper" slaves to the supernatural. 
We were special. Though we were still human, we have special abilities. As such we were sold to the higher ranks.
