As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. She screamed and cried, she developed a bi-polar disorder and a rude, aggressive, and solitary attitude. Hank made no move to scold her for her actions because he was the same way, the only comfort they had was their dog, Sumo, and alcohol. That is until an android entered their lives - RK800. He became Hank's new partner in the investigation on deviants. Skye was nothing but cold and rude to the docile and innocent android, but no matter how angered she would get when he spoke to her, or how restricted and quiet she would act around him, her introverted personality only drew Connor in, despite her pushing him away. He wanted to know more about her, about her personality and what caused it - and he was determined to stick around long enough to find out.

So there I was, locked in a holding cell at whatever precinct it was in Detroit, Michigan in the year 2038. Really, the whole holding cell thing is a little excessive. I don't know why they needed to go these lengths. I'm in a tiny body, and unfortunately, YK500 androids aren't all that strong, or so I've learned. Mostly the hard way. Kara is sitting across from me, glaring of course, and it's honestly understandable. It's my fault we're here after all. Not really one of my finer moments, I will admit. But hey, it could be worse. At least I'm not dead. Anymore. Reader gets hit by a car and wakes up in the body of Alice Williams. Shenanigans ensue.
