(Rewrite of the other ACA, hoping this one will be better. Enjoy!) The common cold turns into a violent virus, spreading throughout populated cities and towns in the United States. They call it the "Flame Virus" due to a red and orange rash that appears on your skin that soon after becomes black and flaky like wood after being burnt, it burns as if your skin is on fire. Thousands of people with the virus become crazy and cannibalistic. Chaos and panic spreads as the government tries to find a way to end this, they bomb places the the virus as spread too, hoping it will destroy them, but it only leaves to people becoming homeless and exposed to the virus. Bunkers have been built for survivors, and sanctuary in Iceland to anyone who can get there. Harper Murphy wanders into the woods after finding her mother dead and her father one of those "things". And now, she and a group of young adults find themselves questing to find the sanctuary, all while trying to avoid the madness and stay alive. !!! WARNING !!! This story contains gore, swearing and people DYING-
