Jemma Carter, your average American teenager or maybe not. She is as much of a nerd as a rebel. Jemma is a mixture of sassiness, sarcasm, craziness and rebellion. Getting into fights, drinking but also straight A's and being the principals favourite Jemma gets away with almost anything. Having parents who were practically never there while Jemma was growing up she has learned to live on her own which sometimes gets a little lonely.

Jake West, forever high's baddest boy. He has got everything, the money, looks charm and the certified arrogant attitude. Blake is a mystery to most, and history of many girls. He has played more hearts that soccer matches, taking in that he is the captain of forever high's soccer team.

Jemma and Jake have known each other forever and hated each other for even longer. What will happen when Jake shifts back into his childhood home which just so happens to be right beside Jemma's house. Will living so close together change their emotions or will it just make everything worse?

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

It Started With A Run

39 parti Completa

Cameron Black is the school's nice guy. He has the perfect life. The perfect girlfriend, the perfect family. Nothing bad has ever really happened to him. Annabel Carter is quite the opposite. Nothing in her life is going her way. She's in a gang for a multitude of reasons and the only family she has is her twin brother. They don't even go to the same school. They're different on so many levels, it's ridiculous. So what happens when Cameron goes on a run after having the first real problem of his life and stumbles into the warehouse that Anna and her friends use as their headquarters? And what happens when they recruit Cameron to expose the people at his school for the awful people they are? • • Excerpt • • "So... basically you're telling me to figure out my friends' secrets and then stab them in the back by telling you guys so you can quote-unquote 'take them down'?" I said in a clipped tone. I don't really like being rude to anyone, especially not to the leader of a gang, seeing as I want to keep my life. This though was kind of absurd. "I mean... if you want to live of course," Tyson said trying to scare me. And let me tell you, it definitely worked. I still didn't understand why he even cared. I mean don't gangs only care about drugs and money? *POV's Alternate*
