(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. Seven years flew by as Kira watched everyone else from afar while training her angels for battle. Ceciellia and her coven continued to run a private magic school with the help of Alice and the others, expanding the diversity of their army and training recruits. Everyone played a role and had their pieces to contribute to the cause, teaching different types of classes to various creatures so that they could learn to use the gifts they were either born with or given later on. When Alice and Tate weren't teaching at the school, they were off doing what they did best: hunting demons that managed to slip through the cracks. Anna, Luna, Rain, and Claire continued their research to create more cures for different creatures while teaching and caring for the unique students of the school. Alex, Damon, and Caleb also taught classes and maintained security and safety for those who lived at the house containing a portal door leading to the magic school and the students living in its dorms. The special children, either born from Lucifer and Kira's bloodlines or those with ancestors who passed down pieces of Lucifer's shattered soul, had grown up, and after turning 18, they'd stopped aging physically. Just like their parents, they also continued to face obstacles of their own over the years, as with every passing year, their powers grew stronger as they trained how to use them. Though they were not the only ones. Lucifer was getting closer; they were getting closer. Kira could feel it, and so could Alice and Tara. It's almost like that strange feeling where a person feels as if someone is standing behind them, but when they turn around, no one is there. The intensity of those feelings crept closer and stronger with each passing year. It was only a matter of time before Hell's gates would open, and once more, Lucifer would come for Kira, as well as everyone and everything she loved, including Tara, Alice, and anyone standing in his way.

It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go.
