Year 3255: the world's militaries have formed coalitions based on the militaries of old. In the west is Geirland of the Viking coalition, in the east is Sagai of the samurai coalition, and in the center is Avonard of the Knight coalition. The Earth is in total war and the coalitions have begun searching for planets in the outer solar systems or "Sectors". This story follows Eiyu, a daimyo of the Labyrinth Sector, as he deploys for the first time since his reinstatement on Earth.

When allegiances are called into question and suspicions of the Reenactment's effectiveness to select the best recruits for the einherjar start spreading, Blader must do his best to both survive and hold to the values he prizes.
