Through trees and grasses to as far as the eye could see, Nico wandered. Even if the vines and snares wrapped around his limbs and dug in like thorns, he would continue to wander until he couldn't. It wasn't uncommon for the soles of his feet to bleed. It was quite nice that he didn't feel pain.
Tora, named after the flora goddess of her village, Blodau, hated everything that was her upbringing. Ridiculed and neglected by her once loving kin, she tries to make a new name for herself in the capital, Cyfalaf o Bechodau. Although, that in itself is difficult to do that when you're such a hated species.
As uncanny as it was, Leon, a normal seventeen year old, stumbled upon a orphic world by following, what seemed like, a figment of his imagination into the dark forest that was his backyard. He never expected to find mystical creatures and fight with powerful gods, and just when he moves to a new school does the unthinkable happen.

Nivea never planned on coming back. The farmhouse her father left behind-weathered by time, surrounded by wild woods, and drowning in memories-was the last place she wanted to be. She hardly knew the man who raised her from a distance and left her nothing but a crumbling home and acres of land whispering with secrets. But something called her back. Something she couldn't ignore. Armed with a shotgun and the grit of a woman who knows how to stand on her own, Nivea thought she'd be rebuilding her father's house-and maybe her life. But the woods have eyes. And the land holds more than broken fences and faded memories. When a violent storm rolls in, so does he. Ares. Long hair, sun-tanned skin, with a smile as easy as a southern breeze-but eyes that flash with something wild. Something not quite human. A stranger who shouldn't be on her land, yet claims he has nowhere else to run. Other men are coming for him-dangerous men. And there's something about her land keeping them out. But Nivea knows better than to trust a pretty face. She's a hunter by blood-whether she likes it or not. And no matter how close Ares stands, no matter how easy it becomes to let him stay, she can't ignore the question gnawing at her soul: Is she protecting him from the world outside? Or protecting the world from what he's running from?

13 Crowns
Prologue I used to have a nightmare when I was younger. It was always the same order and the same impact. It started with the warmth of sand consuming my feet. I looked up to see a warzone. There were flashes of fire, water, and lightning. It was like a war of the gods. Suddenly I felt the heat on my back. I turned to see neon red and yellow flames consume me. I ran to hide in the bushes that were next to me, feeling out of breath I tried to calm myself down. Strands of dark red hair covered my face. I proceeded to swipe my hair and look at my surroundings. I heard sobbing coming from near me. I trudged through the bushes and toward the sobbing when I got to under a willow tree. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. I saw a girl with long dark red hair being the cause of the sobbing. She had a huge gash on her forehead with blood trailing down her face. She also had burns on her arms and shirt. The boy was in much worse condition. He was covered in burns, she was covering his face with only his hair showing. They both had the same colored hair. Suddenly my necklace started to glow with an amber color. The girl in front of me had a similar amber glow. Two amber crowns sat on top of the pillow. One female and one male crown sat on top of the pillow. Once I walked closer the glow came back. Once I grabbed the tiara everything became white. I was once again in another room, I attempted to move but I mysteriously couldn't. A neon purple bolt of lightning hit my chest. We both locked eyes with each other. Was that me? Before I could find out, the ground started to be drained into a whole. I was sucked into the drain and everything soon became black and I was free-falling. My back soon hit the ground of the room. I rose to look at the surroundings of the new room I was in. I fell to my knees from the pain. Then a person walked forward and grabbed my face.Complete
