Eighteen years ago, a third of the world's population started to disappear. It didn't take long for people to figure out the pattern. Whoever is responsible, they live in the sky, and they are taking only the most beautiful.

Fortunately, Kennedy doesn't have that problem. She's ugly, and she's talented. Everyone thinks she is just a mechanic, but secretly she partners with an underground plastic surgeon. She helps people by disfiguring their pretty faces. Her team is the best at what they do and business is booming.

The only thing she has to worry about is the exposure squads: groups of vigilantes who protect themselves by hunting the beautiful people in hiding.

When the squads find out about the doctor, he runs. Kennedy is good at her work, but she can't do it alone.  She takes on an assistant she doesn't realize he has secrets in his past, secrets that start to attract attention. With the squads getting closer she will have to make choices about how much she is willing to risk. If she stops working, her clients be in danger. If she continues, it will be the end of her own survival.All Rights Reserved
