Raised in a lab, (a.k.a The School) Experiment 12 thinks that the outside world won't accept her. She's been told that Maximum Ride and her Flock have been keeping their secret, well, a secret from the normal people, and that they've been spreading lies about The School. 12 has been sent on a very special mission, to earn The Flocks trust, and then somehow convince them to come back to The School. She doesn't think she has a choice, she thinks that whatever the scientists say is true. But what happens when she meets The Flock and learns that she does have a choice?
Based off of James Patterson's series "Maximum Ride" characters belong to James Patterson except for my characters and the plot.

While this was meant as a sequel to mine and @amaryll28's story Nowhere Is Final, it was primarily written as a bit of a laugh, so please don't take it too seriously, because I sure as hell didn't! The title, in case anyone picked up on it, is a play on James Patterson's first Maximum Ride story, The Angel Experiment -- for no better than because I thought the idea of arbitrarily bird-winged creatures and pointlessly evil scientists was (somewhat) apt and (somewhat) hilarious.
