Ashlynn Lexington Davis is a childhood cancer survivor, with a major secret. She was once a twin, like her older brothers Braydon and Brandon. Ashton Concord Davis did not survive past his cancer time. Her father passed in a car crash as her mother brought her home from the hospital. Her boyfriend Hayden and her best friend Maelynn are the only ones who know about this, besides her mom and brothers. Jaxson is the new kid at Mountain View Middle School. He doesn't have a clue as to what happens past Ashlynn's punky attitude at school. But he is about to find out. When he does he feels closer to her than he did before. Jax has a massive crush on his friend Maelynn and has a gut feeling she feels the same way. So he is forced to make a move and they are the second strongest couple in the school, next to Ashlynn and Hayden. Totally different stories. Will they stay friends to the end? Will they break apart after they all go through deaths of loved ones? Or will the bond be stronger then ever? Read to find out...

Football players are assholes. I know - my brother is their king. Older and annoyingly overprotective, he's the star quarterback at Santa Cruz High School. I love him, but everyone worships the air he breathes and it's suffocating. After a traumatic experience with a quarterback three years ago, I want nothing to do with boys and dating. All that matters is getting into college, so I ace my classes and sign up for my school's student ambassador program to boost my applications. Thankfully, I have my best friend, Harper, to get me through high school being overshadowed by my brother. My plans for a quiet, low-key senior year are destroyed when my brother's cocky, arrogant rival keeps butting into my life. Logan Hightower is a total player who expects me to drool at his feet while he uses me to burn my brother's game. If he thinks I'll fall for his gorgeous looks and shallow charms, he's totally mistaken. He'll never succeed because I hate football players.
