Harry has always been Jaycee's best friend, her lifeline, her angel. They're basically as close as family can get without being physically related. Harry's taken the overprotective big brother role to the extreme when the two venture to their family's beach house, and Jaycee breaks down the inner walls she put up all those years ago. As bonds grow between her and Harry's bandmates, Harry gets upset and Jaycee finally decides that Harry needs to learn and defuse the fact that there's a fine line between being protective and jealous.

"I guess," I said, "but why?" "Don't ask," he told me. "Okay here are your options," I told him, "you either tell me why or I'll hang out with him until I figure out what's wrong with him." "If you talk to him, I swear to god you will never see another device in your life and you will never leave your room. Do you understand," Jax growled at me and I was scared shitless. ........... Jamie is forced to move from her seemingly pampered life in Austraila to San Diego after her parents died. Jake, her brother, decided it was best to move them halfway around the world to give Jamie a new start. They move in with some of Jake's friends, but how does Jamie react to a sudden change in authority. Her past does not define her. She will protect all she cares about, but are her walls strong enough to keep people out? And what will she do when it's time to grab the knife and start swinging?
