Midoriya "Deku" Izuku has looked up to his childhood friend, Bakugo "Kacchan" Katsuki, for years. Even when he does nothing but insult the greenette, he admires the blonde.
Soon, he realized that it was more than just feelings of admiration.
It was not friendship, either.
It was the feeling called love.
But with love, came pain.
Izuku knew his childhood friend would never return his feelings. He's been bullied by that same person for years.
But he still loved him - so, so much.
Maybe it was the cold fact that he won't be loved back; maybe it was the fact that he fell for the one who bullied him.
But somehow,
He got a disease.
The Hanahaki disease was supposed to be a myth. Even if it was real, it wouldn't be so common to come so easily.
But Izuku's love for Katsuki proved that wrong.
When Izuku coughs out petals, he knows that time is running short.
He must have his friend love him back,
Or never feel love ever again.
